im sad to say my two motoro rays passed away yesterday ! i havent been home for 4 days and my dad feeds them and left the uneaten food in the tank witch turned to moldie balls and the rays must have had a chew on them and got food poising. the water paramatas are all fine so this is the only thing i can think of ! i got homew and the rays were all curled up and it was like there skin was coverd in white slime and they were twitching and did not look well and in about an hour they boath passed away. ive had them for a good 6 months and they were growing great its sad to loose such amazing fish from my tank

cheers guys yee i was very down but at least ive learnt my mistake and became a smarter fish keeper foor next time. at least i still have my pbass
Sorry to hear man... Luckily for me, my buddy comes over and feeds my rays when im gone and he has done it enough that he knows what to feed and how much. Maybe next time you should separate your food into daily bags, so ur dad will know what and how much to feed them. sucks they died, but you can bounced back from that... lot easier then a BD or P14!! goodluck and keep us posted on ur next ray purchase
Over feeding is a killer. Thankfully I have a budy that is a fish keeper or all my fish would be dead lol. Anything less than I week I just don't have anyone feed my fish. If i'm gone for a week then I get my friend to come over and feed them every other day.
