I am wanting to get a dissecting scope. I use them occasionally for lab work I do with bugs & plant pathogens, and now I am interested in getting one for the home. A dissecting scope would be beneficial for most of my hobbies (nerd alert!). I would like to expand my knowledge of fish biology and pathogens, and I'd also like to get a better look at some of the copepods in my tank. I would love to hear from other MFKers that use scopes. Sound off on brand recomendations, suggested retailers, price, uses, anecdotes, etc. Seems like the going rate for binocular 10x&30x on ebay is about $130-180. Good place to get used ones? Thanks.
