so I picked up this guy at about 1.5" because I've never seen one. hes now about 4.5" or so. one thing I've noticed is when the lights are completely off over night he changes from silver to black and red with a silver cross. I've seen other fish lose their colors when kept in the dark over night but never had one that completely changes pattern and goes dark. if that makes sense...
