I've been enjoying my Leoprinus moralesi and unidentified Leoprinus (Can anybody give it a try? - Think an UGLY fasciatus, with no yellow - this is a long, thin (thinner than fasciatus) gray/silver barred fish, with a yellow throat, about 5 inches)

Anyways, first of all - if anyone knows a source for more Leoprinus species, let me know.

My question is, would Distichodus share similar requirements, or are they pretty fussy? (D. sexfasciatus and lussoso, to be exact)
Also, would the two genera be compatible if given proper space?

Rottbo - are the Distich's delicate as far as water param's or are they pretty cool about it, like Leos?

My Distichodus doesn't seem too fussy with food, loves catfish sinking pellets of all things and munches on the plants in my tank, so some veggies in his diet may help. Likes frozen bloodworm too...
As far as water params go, he's in soft Scottish water, ph between 6 and 7 and seems quite tolerant of ammonia and nitrites, although mine are at zero. (When my tank spiked before, he wasn't bothered at all - one of my hardiest fish). Also a great character, but can be a bit of a bully. Nothin serious, just likes to chase my Clown Loaches! And boy is he fast!
Enjoy.
