Any UK members know how much Distichodus Sexfaciatus are selling for these days? My one's gettin a bit big and I may need to move him on.... Just wondering what the retail would be on him. About 7" at the moment...

At 7" you've the best chance at moving him on. As they get bigger, there are less people with tanks able to house them. I reckon retail of about 35-40 pounds. If you are selling privately ask for less and make sure it goes to a good home. Good luck!
Thanks Puffer...that's not a bad price. He's quite a calm guy, has the odd wee aggression session, but generally doesn't bother his tankmates. Lovely looking fish - and what a speed he can move at...love to see him go in a HUGE tank or even a raceway so I cud see how fast he cud go! Anyone else out there seen a Distichodus go for it...?!
My sister seems to be giving up her tank, so I've got somewhere to rehouse him and a couple more of my bigger fish...excellent!

I think they get to 2 feet in the wild, around half that in domestic aquarium. He's 6-7" at the moment and in full health, brilliant colouring - great reds - and a total cheeky bast@rd!
