I picked up another Distichodus Sexfaciatus a couple weeks ago. When I got him home I realized he was bigger than I thought he was (looked smaller in the giant tank at the store) so I had a bit of an issue. The goal was to get a fish that was halfway between the big Lussoso and little Sexfaciatus in size, but as you can see, he's just about the same size as the Lussoso. Oops.
The Lussoso beat him up pretty good at first, but two days behind a divider taught him a lesson and now they all get along just fine. The cool thing about these fish is that they're smart enough to know when bad behavior is punished. In two weeks they'll be moving into a 300 or 400 gallon tank, which is going to be great. I can't wait to see the big sexfaciatus doing his happy dance in the big tank again.
