I work for a quaderpelegic that has 2 turtles in a 20 gal. He recently had me start cleaning the tank, he is using distilled water. I don't think that it is very good for the turtles due to the lack of nutrients. Any comments, also at what point does he need to get a bigger tank? Right now the turtles are about 6 in long.

He needs a bigger tank now. Distilled water is not good, it will leach salts from the turtles skin and eyes, and kill fish or amphibians.
