Distractions for festae juvies..?

I've got 7 festae all around 2" in a 40b hoping to eventually pick one or 2 keepers and sell off the rest. In the meantime I'd like to distract them from killing each other. I got some big lake inle danios (some are at least longer than the festae) and they have killed one and another looks like its not going to last.. (the danios haven't been in the tank for 24 hrs yet).

Any suggestions that's cheap, and not fragile?
 
Small, but longer then the festae so they are much taller, green severum has worked well to stop my stalsbergi, festae and g. Brasiliensis from bickering so much

Ok they kill a danio daily... 2 left now. The festae do a little bickering amongst themselves, trying to keep to a minimum by providing distractions but need something real cheap.. mebbe I should grab some small convicts?
 
I need cheap.. like $2 cheap, they have killed nearly $30 worth of barbs this week..
 
That's a lot more than I need.. and after what they did to the danios... not sure I'd want to put the JD's thru that too.. mebbe I let the festae work things out for themselves.
As of tonight they have killed $40+ worth of fish (after taxes..) Gonna leave them to their own devices and see how they fair.
 
Lol you don't have ta buy 10 but if ya want a couple you know where I am. Mine seem to be ok. Gave them maaany hiding spots and threw in a large pleco.

Fishkeeping is my cocaine.
