Dither Barb Compatibility

I have 6 Blood Parrots ranging from 2-5", a 5" L/F Tiger Oscars, a 4" TSN, a 7" O. niger and some plecos. I'm trying to add a few smaller active fish to bring my parrots out. I'm not worried about the barbs being eaten but whether they with be fin nippers on my oscar. Right now Cherry Barbs (Capoeta tittega), Tiger Barbs (Capoeta tetrazona) and Gold Barbs (Puntius sachsi) are on sale at work so i can get them pretty cheap.
Anyone think one of these will go well with my fish without being a problem?

Giant danios are cheaper, not aggressive and get larger.

i thought about them but i dont want something that big. i just want some 2-3" fish.
