I have giant danios and tiger barbs with my 9" midas, but he grew up with them since he was little. He beats up my Honduran Red Points and doesnt touch my dithers.

i had 5 giant danios with my 14" monster midas for a year and as of last week i have 1 left. he did this in a matter of 2 weeks
i'd say silver dollars get a little too big for the 85

If you're going with the Giant Danios you should be know that they are skilled jumpers, and will flee the tank if your Midas/RD stresses them. I had 5 with my female RD. 4 jumped, and one well it just disappeared
. Just make sure that you try to cover all exits, as it is better to have a well fed fish than a stinky room.
