I was looking for a fast moving dither fish to put with my cichlids something nice looking and doesn't get to big and at the same time not to small. So something like thats gets around the 6 inch range of something . I like tiger barbs but they do not get big enough and siviler dollars if i am not mistaken get about a foot long so they to big . So any suggestion would help thanks in advance .

Silver dollars don't get that big. They actually grow into the range you're asking for. 6-8" usually. How big of a tank, and what cichlids do you have?

The regular silver dollars get 5 or 6 inches, unless you get red hooks or black bars then larger.

i currently have a 55 gal and but i am talking about for a 90 or 125 gal and the cichlids i have are texas , silver saum , pike cichlid and a mosiac gar

Look into some Exodon Paradoxus. They stay small, colorful and can handle life with the big boys.

Good luck
