Looking to get a decent size school of dithers, my proposed stock list for a 150 Gallon tank is as follows...

1 x GT
1-2 x Sevs
1 x BGK

I would like something with a bit of color and would prefer a school of 10-15. I was thinking Giant Danios but they get a bit too large for this size of a school for a 150g I'm thinking. Are there any other type of schooling fish that get a bit smaller then the Giant Danios that would have a good chance of not becoming food?

You know, I never thought of rainbows, I bet a nice school of Boesemani Rainbow would look awesome in the tank. Black tank/stand with black sand and black background - their color will really pop especially in a nice sized school.

absolutely. I never really thought much of rainbows but, I was trying to find a dither for my FRT and read that in the wild, you would find these two species together, so I thought it would make a cool biotope sort of tank. they look great as well.

I'm currently using swords as dithers. However I don't know how they'd fare with your Green terror.

I don't know much about Knife Fish, but I do know that every GT I have ever had ate small fish the minute they saw them.

How about some mascara barbs. Fast and the adults have this cool green sheen going on.

That reminds me - check out Odessa Barbs.
