Dither or smaller fishes with Motoro Stingrays

Hey everyone,
wanted some advice on what to put with the new tank and rays I'm getting. Breeding pairs of motoro rays. Tank size is 8x3x2. 4 FX5 filters.

I wanted colorful fishes to go with the rays in this tank. I wanted to add a lot of dither fish, what do you guys recommend? Not really into Tinfoils or SDs.

Also whats the smallest fishes I can keep with rays? Some small fishes are really colorful and would look great but dont want them to be snack. Like some rainbow fishes.

How big are your rays? Might get by with some tetras.

Discus will get taken down quickly, they're slow and clumsy. Easy pickings from first hand experience.

Although tetra may get snacked on periodically I'd still go for a decent size school of them.

There's several videos of public aquariums with very large rays and schools of tetra and other tiny fish.
