DITHERS ASSISTANCE

What kind of dithers should i get for an OSCAR, BLOOD PARROT AND A GT?

I was thinking tigar barbs.

Also, if I go out and buy 6 dithers and throw them in the tank, would there be enought benifical bactiera to support them?
 
shouldn't you use something bigger, like silver dollars? The tiger barbs would very easily get killed, they only get to about 3 in.
 
silver dollars was an option but they get big. Pple suggested giant danios but i find those ugly. Plus, can't tigar barbs out swim an oscar?
 
Giant danios and female convicts.

SD's take awhile to get big.

Tank size would help in our suggestions.
 
I thought tiger barbs would be good dithers for my Africans....NAWT!!! they chomped every one of them and i never even saw it happen. i dont know what to recommend you because anything small is going to get eaten quickly and anything too large is going to overstock you more and cause greater problems than an angsty green terror
 
Ok, that tank is definitely overstocked as it is. I would not recommend adding anymore fish making more of a bioload. Are you upgrading soon?
