Anybody else use this idea? I had some xtra feeder minnows left over so I placed them in my 150..Low and behold my SD and RHK shoal settled down, weren't as spooky and became more active..I was using the SD's and RHK's as dithers orginally for my Uaru and Rokteil Sev to displace aggression ...
Cichlids for the most part leave the minnows alone as they are well fed on earthworms ...plus they are more relaxed as well and cruise the tank slowly.
My Adonis is out more and so is the A. Sydontis......
Now I added a few G danios with the minnows and I totally like the look of this mix tank with the differences in shapes and sizes...dithers for my orginal dithers..looking for some Roseline Sharks that don't cost a small fortune for some reason locally they are very expensive..
I tried taking pics but they really don't show much as the tank is really active now....I'll try taking a vid and see how that turns out.....
