I have my Sev and a Blood Parrot in a 75gal, and was thinking about moving my 7 Buenos Aires Tetras in with them. The cichlids are about 5 inches, and the tetras are all around 3 to 3 1/2 inches.

Tank is well planted with both fake and live. Could this work?

I was more concerned because I just moved the severum out of the 125gal because the school of Silver Dollars were picking the heck out of his fins. So I moved him and the BP both.

Wondered if the tetras will nip his fins, too.

I added x12 Gymnocorymbus ternetzi with my Oscar, JD and GT.
They are doing fine for now and are one of the easiest fish to take care of.

I've never kept Buenos Aires Tetras before, but if that doesn't work out another nice dither would be one of the larger rainbow species, and they definitely won't bother anyone.

I don't see any reason the BATs should bother your Sev. I used them on several occasions and never had an issue with them nipping fins. They are among my favorite large tertas. a group of 7 should work fine.

I use alb tiger barbs and giant danios, never had an issue except for a dither missing now and then.

Yeah, I'm thinking about moving them this weekend maybe. I don't think I'd be missing any of them anytime soon, they're just as long as the severum and blood parrot.

The BAT's will be great dithers.
