dithers?

in a 20 long convict breeder tank, are they needed? and if so what would be a good fish to use, that wouldnt just get the crap kicked out of it and not be a problem as far as pestering the cichlids. like danios? or rosies? something along those lines? or are they really necessary?:feedback: THANKS!

Yeah, I'd be more worried about my convicts not having enough space by themselves enentually! Just one pair correct?

agreed with the 2 posts above me...

however i was on the same boat as u were now, and bought 6zebra danios to fill up the top space... i liked it! they were both peaceful to each other, but when the frys started to gain up on inches... i needed to relocate my danios.

yes just 1 pair. i am gonna breed them for feeders to my larger tank.
i think they are intresting and from what i have read they are easy to start with if looking to ge tinto breeding fish

lol Convicts are the BEST dither fish. It is hard to find a dither fish for the top of the dither fish "food chain." :D
