Hi I wanted to build a tank stand for a 36/18".
I have messaged to people that already have but wanted to get more info..

www.garf.org has DIY stand plans. You put in the dimensions and it tells you what lumber you need and the measurements.

now that i know of the filter...
i can't decide what the height should be though because the XP3 has like a mini/maximum distance thing..
i'll come back once I get it.

The minim/maximum distance between the top of the filter and the top of the water level is 24"~55".

and the filter has to be atleast 16" from the bottom of the tank.
wolf told me that it doesn't matter as long as the filter is on the bottom, but I just want to be on the safe side..
what should the height be?(i can't do the calculation..)
