diver harasses moray eel....

There is a woman who used to swim in the ocean that had a moray eel that used to come up to her and let her stroke it... can't remember the name of the video, but it was on youtube somewhere...

There is a picture of this in my bio room at school, its pretty sick. I doubt I'd be able to ever come even close to one of those things. Way too scary
 
the green moray " dangerous as it can be " is actually like a puppy if trained. they for some reason love when you touch them. great video.
 
any one else see the vid of the diver loosing his thumb to a moray. That was horrific. This is cool but yeah I'm not gonna do it even my little moray I had would accidently bite me, they are practically blind ya know all they need is a smell to set them off.
 
That title is VERY misleading. It's a captive animal that is very acclimated to human interaction. I still wouldn't do that too much without a long wetsuit, though. Morays will be your best friend one minute, then turn and tear into you the next. Any little thing can set them off.

The video with the guy who gets his thumb ripped off is usually the result when people mess with adult green moray eels and don't know what they are doing.

Here's me with one a little over 4 ft. You can see I'm not enclosing it against my body at all, but letting it rest in open hands.
