divided 55gal

ok so i have a 55 gallon and i want it divided so i can keep my little cray and
2-3 pictus catfish would this work?

yeah just cut a piece of acrylic and silicone it in the middle it should look pretty nice. You could even go half salt half fresh if you wanted to

i know i love them but my dad wont let me run a 10gallon along with 55[10 for cray<3]
55 for pictus>=]!

shouldnt be a problem. the acyrlic divider with many small drill holes or get the premade screen made to be a tank divider. the screen would allow enough flow throughout the tank.
