divided dovii and new decor

I decided to redo my tank using driftwood. I got the right side done a few days ago and then had to leave for work. when i returned home i found the female dovii had given the male a good beating so i had to seperate them before i finished the new setup.:irked:
the right side looks good so far and i cant wait to finish the rest of the tank.

here is a shot of what it looks like so far and the other driftwood i have yet to put in the tank. and last pic is whats left of this pairs first batch of fry. let me know what you think.

Looks good but once they double in size u will have to set up the heavy duty divider dovii will crush that 1 u have in there soon and very little decor they will need every inch of swimming space.So if i where u i would not get real into aquascaping there tank in just months they will be way bigger in my devil pair tank it's just a bit of gravel a egg crate divider with bricks to keep it in place a big pot to spawn in and a peice of slate if they so chose to spawn there.
 
yeah i didnt know about egg crate yet, so i used 2 55g dividers turned sideways. they are digging everything up in there already. but if everyting goes as planned they will be getting a 125 or 180 in a couple months and i am thinking of putting sevs and parrots in this one.

when they get there own tank i am going to really scimp on the decor. prob use some small black gravel and a few pots or large rocks thats it.

BTW, do you want some of these dovii fry? i am giving them away.
 
the female beat the male??? is the female the bigger one???? nice dovii's BTW.
