divider help

ok so i wanna buy some small fish that are about 2-3 inches but are very small so they can slip through an egg crate. i was thinking about making a divider in my big tank using eggcrate and wrapping it in a screen mesh or something like a net. where would i be able to buy a screen thats about 2'x2' and would be able to go in the water. thanks alot, is there any other things i can use the make the divider holes smaller so my fish dont slip through.

Go to a hardware store like home depot or lowes and ask them to point you to the ceiling tiles section. It should be in the back corner. Deep dark place of the store.:eek:

Don't ask for eggcrate because they will look at you like you're an idiot. Don't ask how I know :ROFL:.
 
yeah i know that its called light diffuser, but the holes on it are too big so a lungfish would slip right through, can i put a screen over it to make it hard to squeeze through
 
ok will the screens for house windows work? dont they have a chemical it release when its in the water?

I dont know what its called but there is something you can buy from a craft store that will work perfect for what you want. It looks like a screen that is plasic and can easily be tie wrapped to eggcrate without looking to bad.

I just cant remember what its called so I guess im not much help, maybe someone else can chime in and help me remember.
