i have a 125 gallon tank that i want to split in half for my midas, and then get a GT from Jeff Rapps. every lfs i go to in the area only has dividers that will fit a 55 g at the largest. wondering if anyone knows where i can find one for a standard 125 g tank.

also , will the fish drive one another crazy, and unhealthy if they are able to see one another, any ideas or suggestions for this matter would be appreciated thanks.

why no make your own, cant be too hard right?

You can make them outve thin Plexiglass, or you can use Fluorescent Light Louver (the lil screen thing you see on some recessed Fluorescent lights). With plexi youll need to drill of cut small slots for water flow, with the Fluorescent louver you only need to cut it to size.

I divided my 200 using the eggcrate light diffuser and some heater clips from Petsmart. Works like a charm and even keeps my 12" RTC away from my little oscars and green terror.

those eggcrate light diffusers are a hobby standard when it comes to dividers. Go to a hardware store , they cost about 11 bucks. Cut them to size and use a suction cup
to hold them.

Your cheapest fix is the eggcrate, for a nicer look go with plexiglass. You can hace the hardware store cut it for you when you buy it. Suction cups will hold it in place. With your aggressive fish you could even buy the black plexi to keep them from ramming the divider unless you like watching that.

thanks for all the help, i do not want them ramming into the divider and constantly wanting to attack eachtother, i dont feel like it would be healthy for them. i didnt know there was black plexi you can get, that sounds like a good idea, i have used the eggcrate before in smaller tanks, thats another good choice, but i think im going to look into the black plexi

i use plexiglass from HD... easy to cut and looks great in the tank
