  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it wouldnt work for me so i just posted the link :(

IMO w/o media it's a gigantic heater box

two small points , the bubble trap should be last IMHO as the plants and stuff will cause u bubbles anyway and useing a wet dry you should get a whole lot less bubbles that what you are now. i dont use a bubble trap in any of my FW sumps as it just isnt needed (no skimmer to cause bubbles ) secondly i would of made the final chamber as big as possible as that is where the evaporation will effect , the bigger the chamber the less wc u need to do.

what i would do is just take out the last panel of the bubble trap to maximise the second chamber size , then experiment with the final chamber to see if its big enough .

also i have had bad times the the fluval amonia remover as it can stall the tank cycle as the bacteria have no amonia to feed off

first off: all the bubbles where from adding water to the setup

second: the bubble trap is fine where it is cuz the flow is going to be over 700 GPH in a ten gallon

and third: amonia remover will be fine cuz i have the tank already cycled on the 405's i have this sump is bing add so i can take out one and then later on take out the other.
