I'm looking to make a 12 ft by 4 ft 3 ft tall pond in my garage for some koi fish. I was going to use traditional 2x4s and plywood to make the frame and simply line it with a pond liner. I'm making this post just to get everyone's opinion/suggestions on making the frame. Any pointers you may have or any do's and don'ts you would suggest please let me know.
Once I have the whole pond set up my plan is to run some tubing outside for aquaponics setup.
Also I live in Ohio so the winters get pretty cold in the summers can get pretty hot any suggestions other than insulation the tank to keep it cool during the summer?
