DIY 12' x 2' x 2'

i was thinking of making a 12' x 2' x 2' I was wondering how thick would the glass need to be, there is no traffic, or anybody messing with it i live alone and its going to be in a basement. ive tried to use online calculators but get different answers every time.

I would do 1/2" to be safe, but they say 3/8" is fine for a 2' tank.

could I still make a 12' tank and use 1/4" i dont really need a lot of width i just want legnth

12mm is safer but 10mm is fine for anything 2ft(24") high though.
Spend the extra on a 12mm base but it should come with one anyway.

It would look like three shallow 75s next to each other. Don't skimp on the material just to save money. 12 feet is a long span for only 1/4 inch glass.
