This was the first sump I have built. It is going under a 340 gallon acrylic tank 96x29x28 I was having a hard time gluing a lip around the base to sit the egg crate on so I came up with the PVC idea. I live this idea because the sump and can always be converted back to a tank real easy. The bio area is 44x18x10 and then I made a 24" plant chamber which isnt finished just yet , waiting on a light and some plants.
