I started this stand quite some time ago, just have not had the time to get around to putting the doors on and give it some finishing touches/stain etc.

Will post some pictures(recent ones, as these are older ones), and I will update this as I finish up what remains of the stand, and then move on to the canopy woo hoo... :grinno:

Miter Saw
Jig Saw
Hammer
Drill
Square
Tape Measurer
Clamps

Materials:
Plywood
2x4's
wood glue
screws

If you have any questions regarding measurements, need some advice, tips, or anything else just PM me.
 
Looks fantastic-------and about the advice part- lets say you were building one for a 265g regular and the measurements were 7'Lx24''Dx30''H would the basic design part of this stand by ok to hold a tank that size or would you modify it with more bracing. Maybe like instead of the 2 middle ones make it 3 to 5 braces. Or would you also up the frame to say 2x6's or 8's ---thanks alot-------------ok I new i was not done asking for advice.----Also when building a large stand would you follow basic carpentry rules and square everything and then level it to the floor it would set on or would you level it to the floor it will live on during assembly/building. <-------That is one I have allways wondered about.
