I am just leaving the planning stages for my new build. I am going to build a fairly sized pond behind my house. I already have a spot picked out and pumps ready to go. I am going to order liner tomorrow so that it should arrive after I begin digging which starts tomorrow. Here are a few pictures of the spot where the pond will be going. (sorry about the poor quality, Il be using a digital once i begin the build, this was from my phone.

This spot does get a fair amount of sunlight so It will be okay. I am planning on doing the waterfall right where the plants are that are against the house.
Well I am off to bed, I will start the digging tomorrow morning! I will try to post pics tomorrow, if not the day after. Goodnight and come back and see the progress!!!

Cant see pics. Must log-in to Hotmail account? Anyway, are the dimensions 14'x9'x36' suppose to be WxHxL? If so, this sounds like a gigantic pond... around 34,000 gallons!!! What are you planning to stock it with????

I'm thinking he meant 36", not feet.

Yes indeed im sorry for the typo. I began my digging this morning but it started to rain out.
