I am going to make a nice DIY stand. Obviously the aquarium is going to weigh in around 2000 lbs. I plan on using 4 by 4's on each of the corners and use 2 by 4's for the braces, perimeter, etc. My question is will this be strong enough??? I say yes how about everyone else?

If you follow the typical style that most build with, it will be more then good. I used nothing but 2x4s on the 220 stand that I built for someone.
