DIY 500G Fishtank Plywood & Glass

Does any one have a good plan they can give me?

Can i line the walls with pond liner??? This is after the plywood has been silicon together. the silicon will be on the inside corners while the outside corners will be screwed together with drywall screws.

Can the pond liner be sufficient to protect the plywood from leaks?

The tank will be occupied by largemouth bass and crappies, plants, branch's for the light cover for the fish..

i'd like to think that pond liner would work. sounds like what you have in mind would work fine. the pond liner,if black, would also look reely good imo.

thanks dude. the pond liner i would purchase at Home Depot. do you know the thickness of the liner to use??

another member on here made a corner tank of like 600gal or more out of framing, lining it with pond liner, and siliconing a glass face then taped with pond tape on the edges. as far as i know it worked out great for him.
