Diy alge scrubber to remove nitrates

I built a scrubber based on a you tube video and it works really well. Cut my water changes by over 50%. I now do like 10% a month was doing 20% a week.

Picks:
One cracked open in a small 30g cichlid tank that's about 5 days growth. This is the wet in tanke side

Electronics got it off Amazon for $30 the wavelength of the led is for plants that's
the dry out of tank side.

next is one attached to my wife's guppy tank the wet and dry side clamp together with magnets against the side of the tank.
