I have a 75 gallon aquarium that the entire top black frame broke off. I have called my LFS and no one special orders it. I called glasscages and they had a top that might fit, however the shipping alone was $90 because i live in Hawaii. So i am considering building my own frame. Any ideas on how to do that?

MFK has many threads regarding "plywood tank builds". Possibly they have information on tank frames.
IMO i bought my 75g for about $100 ... i would just get a new one.

You could just add some euro bracing to reinforce the tank. Or you could build it from wood and seal it.
