I plan on building a 48x48x21 aquarium. I plan on doing all four sides with glass from two 90 gallon aquariums. I want to do a plywood bottom and put a thin sheet of acrylic over the plywood to seal it. I plan on sealing the glass to the acrylic with dow corning 795. Will this work?

I did a quick check on the dow corning and I would not use that. Best to use a 100% silicone window and door. I would use glass instead of plexi as plexi doesn't hold silicone all that good.

I have read that they use dow corning 795 for most large public aquariums and I saw a few post on another site that they used dow corning in there sumps. My main question is will it stick to acrylic?
