Just finished this up today for the new 200 gal set up. Made from 1 1/2 .120 wall steel tubing with a 1 x 3 in req tubing for the top for a nice astetic look. All buffed twice with what different grit flap discs for the brushed metal look. Then clear coated nice and thick with rust olem. Still a work in progress going to add recessed wood paneling inbetween the posts and 2 doors on the front for access to filters and goodies stored under the tank. Will update when I get in gear for some woodworking. 1491711222452-280092120.jpg 1491711222452-280092120.jpg 149171127576881234957.jpg 1491711222452-280092120.jpg 149171127576881234957.jpg 14917113116081795139756.jpg

Just curious. Why you didn't weld completely I know strength wise it will be ok but what about moisture rusting the tubing from the inside out ?

It's been coated pretty thoroughly with clear. I might end up plugging the open ends of the tube with plastic caps. Not sure yet. Still have some time to decide before it gets the facia boards.

Here's an update of the tank status. Stocked a 5 in malabaricus 6 in armatus and a 6 in dorado. All fairly peaceful for now. How about the pics. 14923123314231387121492.jpg 14923123864431079952521.jpg 1492312574467766589007.jpg
