So, I knew that my 16" Cuban Knight Anole needed some more space, and I found this idea on youtube. I had a 10-Gallon aquarium with a cracked side, and seems how I only collect fish now, and no longer reptiles, I had no use for it. So, I broke the bottom of the tank, pulled out all of the glass, and stuck it ontop of another 10-Gallon.
What do you guys think?

good idea. Make sure to take some electrical tape to those sharp edges if there's anything leftover.

Thanks.
There shouldn't be any glass left over from what I can see. I think I got all of it, if not, most of it. Just little pieces of silicon left over that I would like to cut off.

how easy is it to break the bottom with out ruining the whole tank

It was pretty easy,actually.
What I did was put a sheet under neath the tank so that all of the glass would land on it instead of the floor. Then flip the tank so that the opening of the tank was face down. The I covered the bottom of the tank with another sheet to avoid the glass from flying everywhere, and I took a few good whacks at it. The glass was a little hard to pull from the silicon. (Any left over shards stuck to the side) but it all worked out nicely. :)
Now, the tank is a little more fragile, seems how its missing the bottom, so I had to be careful what cleaning out the tank before using it as a topper.

k ima do this right now seeing the tank cost less then 10 dollars
