DIY auto feeder

My 95 has two out put holes. One of them is the actual out the other is just plugged. Can I join both out with PVC pipes and put a cut off valve and openning to put the food in? Will my pump still flow the same or will one push out more water then then the other?

I'm interested in this topic too. I'd like to find some way to feed my fish without having to take everything off the top and open the hood every night. I bought a couple of the cheapo auto feeders but they don't work that well. My fish would starve with what they feed them. I can't find an auto- feeder topic on here anywhere, so that's why I'm getting in here with him.
