DIY background good foam, where to get!! ah

so i attempted to start my DIY background on white open cell sytrofoam, bad texture and horrible mess. I am not going to continue that route.
I have been to 2 Different Lowes and 3 different Home Depots by me and niether carry the owens pink foam or dow blue foam. All crappy open cell stuff.

I have also been to michaels arts and crafts, horribly overpriced and not the right stuff.

Anyone have any Ideas? i Live in LA if that helps.

If i must buy online, then what do i get. I looked at Dow's site for the closed cell foam and there are like 20 different option, im not sure which one would be adequate and still fair priced.

Any info would help, thanks yall.

the "good" stuff mentioned is usually Owens pink foam or Dows blue foam, both closed cellf foams. Lowes and Home depot are supposed to have them but not by me. Those foams are alos often used by people who make minitures, like for toy train landscapes.

I need help finding a store that carries them or what particular one to buy online.

if they don't carry it at your local home improvement store a lot of place now-a-days will let you order online and ship it to your store for you to pick up without a delivery charge.
