hi, i want to make a back ground for 1 of my aquariums, but instead of using styrofoam i want to use spray foam.

what i was wondering is can i use normal spray foam found in hardware stores if i coat it with epoxy resin or is there something special used for aquariums.

THANKS.

once cured the creat stuff foam is not harmful to fish. so spray it on let it dry and fill your tank.

By cured do you just mean once it hardens completely? I know people have talked about curing concrete by changing the water in the tank a bunch of times for a month or so. Do you have to do this same thing for the creat foam?

Also, what exact brand would you reccommend for this?

"Cured" for spray foam means that the foam has sat for a day or two and all of the solvent as evaporated.
