diy beef heart recipe

ok, tried my first beefheart recipe and it just does not hold together enough. it fouls my tanks bad. i stopped feeding it, any suggestions? i followed the bill stone recipe off line.

I would just chop plain beefheart up into little cubes and make sure I get any fat and membrane off the meat, and when done rinse in tap water to get the tiny particles off, freeze and feed it as once a week treat for the fish.

What kind of fish are you feeding the beef heart to?.

I use knox gelatin to hold my beefheart recipe together. This has never harmed any of my discus either. I got the recipe from a breeder that also used gelatin. You can get this from most large grocery stores. Hope this helps.
