I know it sounds crazy but i am making a large breeder out of pvc pipe and net, but anyways lets get to the problem, I put all of the pieces that would fit into a 10 gallon and i was painting my deck when I accidentally dropped a very little bit of paint into the 10 gal, and I was wondering if I rinse it off really well will it be ok to put in my african cichlid tank, or should I just buy new pvc. BTW incase you were wondering why I dont just buy a breeder its because its going to be 32" x 10" x 6" and also would it be okay to wrap it in plastic screen like what you use for screen doors?

wash it off if it still washable.. if not just scratch it off with a knife..
the "plastic screen like what you use for screen doors" is usially made of fiberglass.. i dont even know where to find it made of plastic (ive looked but not that hard)...
either way.. IMO.. yes its fine to use.. i use it as a screen on some of my overflows.. ive had it submerged for over 6 months on some tanks.. i also use it in a fry tank to cover the filter...
