diy building new tank need advice

just thought i would throw this at you guys:

Planning on building a new tank. the tank will be built in a wall in my house.
tank will be 72"L X 21"D X 24"T maybe 30" T
Just wonder what size glass i should use and should it be tempered as the local glass shop seems to think...
Any help would be awesome....

I dont know off the top of my head, but i am sure that someone here will.....I just wanted to say welcome to a fellow hoosier! what part of the state are you from?

My DIY tank has 3/8" glass but i dont know if its tempered or what it is.

does anyone know if swimming pool epoxy is safe for a plywood and glass tank?
Also can i build the tank with glass in the front and in the back. As i said before i am building it into a wall and it is very important that i can see the fish from both rooms.
(aka living room and dining room)
