Ok I currently have a well planted 29gal. I currently use a pressurized CO2 system. "BUT" I am currently using a Penguin 350 Bio-filter. I am planning to switch over to an external Canister filter.

My question is: I am currently using the Reactor500 CO2 reactor ( came with the kit ). When I switch over to the canister filter, will it be a better idea to use the DIY style reactor? Or will it even make a difference switching to one or the other? Information on Both Reactors are below.
Reactor500 and info:

Thank you.

This is a very good reactor. You may find it necessary to adjust the bubble count or turn the flow down on the reactor after removing that bioweel.

I would keep using it. You already have it and it works. If it fails you can always make a diy one or buy one from Rex.

I've resurrected a question of mine that no one was able to answer. The winner is DIY Reactor! The Redsea Reactor 500 is ok but its nothing compared to the Diy. Zero waste! Just thought I'd share this with you guys.
