You can but its alot easier to mix a 2liter at a time. And you can change them a few at a time to have a balance of co2 input.

I had 6 2liter bottles running on a 55g before I got a reading on the drop checker. So i would say you would need around 10 2 liters on a 75g. To get you started.

I no longer bother with all that. You might want to read the stickies in the plant forum. CO2 myth busted or something.
