So I'm going to put together a CO2 injection system soon. I plan on getting a CO2 tank from a local brewery for $5 rental, a CO2 regulator and a needle valve to control bubbles. I will be injecting the CO2 into either a powerhead at the bottom of the tank, or a diffuser. As I have it priced so far I'm looking at around $50 for the setup.

Sounds reasonale, is that $5 a month rent?

Is this just a planted? If so you could invert a tray at the surface to catch co2 bubbles to futher desolve them.

I have diffusors that will dissolve the bubble more then enough.

The $5 is a rental fee, I just bring them back when empty and get a new one.

i injected my co2 into a fluval 304 and turned the flow down and kept the spray bar submerged worked like a charm
