DIY Divider idea

I wanna start breeding bettas so i was brainstorming idea for a divider that would be easy to remove when the time comes for them to mate. there is a sketch i drew up. i make set by set directions, with pictures, when i build the real thing. but for now what do you guys think?

Do you mean acrylic divider holders glued to an acrylic tank? that would work

yeah the holder will be glued to the tank glass or acrylic.

just had another idea, after the bettas have mated you could put a black acrylic divider in, instead of the clear one that way the fish cant see each other.
