what is the best way to make a diy divider in my 240 gallon tank 8'x2'x2'? thanks

Depends on how pretty you want to make it. The simple way is to buy some light diffuser/egg crate from the hardware store and just cut to fit.

ok, what if i want to get a piece of glass or acrylic, could i use that?

Yep, that would work as well except that a solid pieces of glass or acrylic won't allow as much flow of water around the tank.

The guy asked a legit question but you have to jump in and be a smarta$$ about it just to get attention. Its people like you that make people not post what questions they have because they dont want to get downgraded. As for the question he asked, it should be in the suspended ceiling tile section and around $10-15 bucks.

Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions. One other thing, as far as mounting it, see if you can dig up a few spare suction cups similar to those found on heaters. They will help keep it upright.
