There are a few variations that I use depending on what species of fish. Large delicate eggs like Saratoga or Frontosa I tumble in a large wine glass (aim for the flattest hemispherical bottom you can find). African mouthbrooder eggs which are robust and used to tumbling I use the uplift tube from an undergravel or a floating nylon tea strainer. Eggs which dont like to touch each other (polypterus) I use egg crate trays with plastic mesh (superglued on) bottoms as individual incubation containers. Huge spawns like catfish or tinfoils I use a DIY zoug jar (Macdonalds jar). You have to unsticky some types of eggs with clay.
You can also spawn easy to breed species ahead of time (ie A. burtoni) and use these easily hatched wrigglers to do the "tumbling" and water circulation on delicate species for you by mixing them amoungst your incubating eggs.
