I don't see why not but I doubt its submersible. Whats your application? A sump?

It is loud. I have thought about it also. Not designed to be indoors. The way they are primed to remove all the air is not conducive to an indoor application. Just a mess waiting to ruin your floors.

I would not. I would guess it is loud, inefficient, prone to leakage and would add a considerable amount of heat to your tank. My experience has been cheap pumps are just cheap pumps.
