DIY Fish Tank

I am looking to have a 100-150 gallon tank.all stores around me are charging about $450 for a 120 gallon,I'm 14 and I love fish and i wanted to know if i can build one .I need to know what kind of glass if it will hold,extra support on the corners to make sure no busts,what building supplies i nedd,and last how to make the glass tight together.plz help much appretiated and and diy tutorials would be nice,THANK YOU

YOu should look into a plywood aquarium. Its plywood on all sides with a glass front. You seal the wood with epoxy or Drylok, which is brand name. Extremely cheap. Does take some diy skill but not to much. Just google plywood aquarium and you will get a bunch of good links.

i am in the same boat as you as well as about your age. I am going to make a 180-200 gallon
and am planning on sealing it with drylok. Hopefully we will get some good ideas from each other. good thread.
